C.A.M.P. by KF Goblin – A Review

Books

This is a wonderful book and I can’t wait for more. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I probably won’t reread it a million times. I am planning to get the next book which is still yet to be published. I’m also trying not to spoil anything so if this review seems a bit vague, I apologize.

My favourite part of opening this book is that KF Goblin was kind enough to add trigger warnings. If you are triggered by anything, please take care of yourself and read through this mini-spoiler.

If you like a kind of post-apocalyptic/dystopian future setting then you will love this book. The world building is beautifully done and explained in such a way that it doesn’t take you out of the story.

There is are strong romantic (and spicy) sub-plots throughout so if you are purely looking for action adventure, keep that in mind. That being said, I’m not a huge fan of romance because I’ve been burned by some badly written romance. This is the exception as it was very well written and didn’t overtake the main plot.

I can only say good things about the action sequences. The pacing was perfect in getting your heart rate up as I believe all action sequences should do.

Overall this was a wonderfully enjoyable read and I look forward to the sequel.
