The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules – A Review

Books

Getting old is a scary concept. You go from having complete control over your life to slowly passing that control over to others. In the case of Martha and her friends, the control was given to the Diamond House. And the retirement home had cut costs which cut down on their quality of life.

So much so that Martha figured they would do better in prison.

The Little Old Lady Who Brooke All The Rules by Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg is a silly, light-hearted read which left my husband confused every time I would giggle. I found this book at the perfect time as I was having some bad OCD days and needed something to cheer me up.

It is a bit far-fetched and there are parts of the book that are a bit of a slow read. But, despite that, I greatly enjoyed this book and plan to read further on in the League of Pensioners.
