Just under a month after my work imploded, I was hired at a used bookstore.
TLDR I love it. I love being around books and around people who love to read.
Downside is that I read a lot of indie fiction and eBooks so I’m not as familiar with those in print. I feel especially bad at picking out books in the genres I don’t usually read in.
So, I’ve made myself a promise to read more books. Which is silly because most of the time I am reading something. But I haven’t read a lot of physical books in the last few years as I mostly read on my phone.
My goal is to read at least one physical book each month. I may indulge some in booktok or booktube to get some recommendations for my reads.
